Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company

Unionville, PA

Station 36

We are located in southern Chester County which is approximately 27 miles Southwest of Philadelphia.  In 1949 a small group of citizens saw the need for a Fire Department, and formed the "PO-MAR-LIN" Fire Company.  Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company Serves Communities in East and West Marlborough, Pocopson and Newlin Townships. The department is 100% volunteer all of the time.  We operate 6 pieces of Apparatus consisting of a 1989 Pierce Lance Pumper, a 2005 Pierce Quantum Rescue/Pumper, a 2003 Peterbuilt/4-Guys Tanker, a 1999 Ford F-550 Attack Unit, a John Deere Gator Utility and a Ford L8000 Air/Light Truck.  The Chief also drives a 2004 Ford Expedition.   We moved into our new station in 2005.  The new station has a 4 bay drive through Engine Room.  It also consists of an area for our firefighters to relax and enjoy the comforts of a kitchen, TV room and game area.  There are also offices for the President, Chief and other administrative officers.   Our company responds to around 250 calls every year.  Our duty is to serve the community with top of the line equipment and well trained professionals to protect them and to preserve property.
